Formally trained in fashion design and garment technology I have worked extensively in ladies’ fashion, including bridal wear.
I am passionate about ensuring that my brides have a unique, exquisite and perfectly crafted dress for their special day and also have an enjoyable and exciting experience when involved in the design process. My clients receive a truly personal service.
I pride myself on offering a wide range of gorgeous laces and fabrics of the highest quality including handmade silk, together with fabric flowers and trimmings. The dresses are tailored to the highest standard and my attention to detail is second to none. This may include hand embellishment if desired. I can also create a matching lace parasol and veil to add that extra finishing touch.
My studio is in the village of Crich in Derbyshire, I visit clients in their homes for consultations and fittings.
The initial consultation (no obligation) is when design ideas and fabric options are discussed in detail. The bride can have as much input as she desires and completely design her own gown if she so wishes.
In the studio patterns are cut to make the toile (this is a mock-up of the dress in a simple cotton fabric). Several fittings ensure that the toile fits perfectly. Once this has been achieved, the intricate process of making the actual gown can begin. Final fittings take place before the dress is presented to my client.

Commissions are also accepted for bridesmaids’ dresses, mother-of-the-bride ensembles and special occasion wear.
